Remarkable Statement from Ripple CEO: XRP, Solana, and Cardano Spot ETFs are Inevitable
In a recent development, the approval of Bitcoin and Ethereum spot ETFs by the SEC in the USA has sparked the interest of investors and market experts in altcoin ETFs. Among the contenders, Solana (SOL) seems to be the strongest candidate for an ETF, while other altcoins like XRP, Litecoin (LTC), and Cardano (ADA) are also being considered.
During his participation in the Consensus 2024 conference, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse made significant statements about the crypto market. He predicts that, following the approval of Bitcoin and Ethereum spot ETFs, spot ETFs for XRP, Solana, and Cardano will inevitably be approved as well.
Garlinghouse believes that it’s only a matter of time before XRP, SOL, and ADA ETFs are approved, but acknowledges that there will be a rigorous regulatory approval process before that happens. He also criticized the SEC’s vague crypto regulations, emphasizing the need for better regulatory clarity in the US. According to Garlinghouse, “as the world’s largest economy, the US represents the bottom decile in terms of regulatory clarity.”
