In a surprising turn of events, renowned analyst Peter Brandt has shared an intriguing prediction about Bitcoin’s future. Brandt suggests that the price of Bitcoin could soar to a peak between $130,000 and $150,000 by the end of August or early September 2025.
Bitcoin, which recently surpassed its previous all-time high (ATH) of $74,000, has faced its fair share of ups and downs. However, investors who were beginning to lose hope can now find solace in Brandt’s bold statement.
Comparing the current bull run to previous post-halving cycles, Brandt believes that Bitcoin has the potential to reach staggering heights. He specifically points to September 2025 as the time when the rise will occur. According to his analysis, the peak could be reached between $130,000 and $150,000 by the end of August or early September 2025.
Brandt explains, “Bitcoin is currently displaying similar patterns to previous halving cycles. In the past, BTC’s last bull market began approximately 16 months before the halving on May 11, 2020, and concluded around 18 months later. This pattern was observed during the previous two halvings in 2016 and 2012 as well.”
“If Bitcoin follows this historical pattern, the next bull market cycle will likely reach its peak in late August or early September 2025, with prices ranging from $130,000 to $150,000.”
However, Brandt acknowledges the uncertainty of his predictions and cautions Bitcoin investors. He emphasizes that his analysis remains flexible and does not strictly adhere to any particular theory.
Brandt also highlights that each cycle tends to yield diminishing returns compared to the previous one. He suggests that there is a 25% chance that Bitcoin has already reached its peak in the current bull market. If Bitcoin fails to surpass its previous high and drops below $55,000, Brandt warns of a potential “exponential decline” and increased probability of survival.
