The significant downward pressure on Bitcoin persists, with the BTC value plummeting by an additional 7.5% in the past 24 hours, pushing its value below $54,000.
The recent downward push was attributed to Mt. The official communication came from Mt. Gox as Gox wallets were reactivated and began transferring Bitcoins.
Consequently, Mt. Gox officially confirmed the commencement of reimbursements.
“Notification Regarding Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash Refunds:
On July 5, 2024, certain rehabilitation creditors were repaid in Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash via designated cryptocurrency exchanges in accordance with the Rehabilitation Plan.
Reimbursements to other rehabilitation creditors will be initiated promptly upon meeting the following criteria:
-Verification of registered accounts’ authenticity and related details;
-Acknowledgment from designated cryptocurrency exchanges, etc. regarding the intention to join the Agency Acknowledgment Agreement;
-Completion of negotiations on reimbursements between the Rehabilitation Board of Trustees and designated cryptocurrency exchanges, etc.;
-Verification of a secure and reliable refund process.
