Controversy erupted in the crypto world after Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin revealed on the Warpcast platform that he and his family do not have a dog.
“I don’t have a dog of my own, nor do my family, only cats,” said Buterin, denying the popular belief that he has a pet dog named ‘Misha’.
Following Buterin’s statement, the value of the memecoin MISHA, rumored to have been named after Buterin’s alleged dog, fell by more than 50%. The token, which has attracted attention among memecoin enthusiasts, is currently trading at $0.0000158.
