In a recent analysis, cryptocurrency analysis firm Santiment has identified several altcoins that have seen significant whale activity. The firm warns investors to be cautious of cryptocurrencies with high whale activity, as this often indicates an upcoming surge in prices.
Here are the altcoins that have experienced the most whale activity in the past week, along with the percentage increase in whale activity:
1. Chromia (CHR) – 800% increase
2. HarryPotterObamaSonic10Inu (BITCOIN) – 740% increase
3. Civic (CVC) – 588% increase
4. Cartesi (CTSI) – 550% increase
5. Chiliz (CHZ) – 333% increase
6. Flux (FLUX) – 275% increase
7. Virtua (TVK) – 200% increase
8. Dai (DAI) – 180% increase
9. Gomining (Gomining) – 157% increase
10. PAX Gold (PAXG) – 145% increase
Santiment’s analysis focused on transfers worth over $100,000 made by whales within the last seven days. When examining the past 30 days, Virtua (TVK) showed the highest increase in whale activity, with a staggering 1900%.
It is worth noting that Bitcoin, the world’s largest cryptocurrency, experienced a significant drop today, falling below $60,000. At the time of writing, it is trading at $59,720.
