According to the latest information, MicroStrategy aims to purchase BTC by raising $42 billion in the next 3 years.
The details of the development were explained in the official press release as follows:
“Today, we are announcing our strategic goal to raise $42 billion in capital over the next 3 years, consisting of $21 billion in equity and $21 billion in fixed income securities, which we call our ‘21/21 Plan.’
As a Bitcoin Treasury Company, we plan to use the additional capital to purchase more Bitcoin as a treasury reserve asset, which will allow us to generate higher BTC Yields.”
