Bitcoin price set a new all-time high price record at $75,990.
BTC had renewed its old record today with the confirmation that Donald Trump was the President of the United States. With this new record coming in the late hours, the new ATH has now shifted to a higher level. At the time of writing this article, it is trading at $75,977 and is again very close to the record level.
The rise comes amid expectations that Donald Trump will pursue more cryptocurrency-friendly policies and dismiss SEC Chairman Gary Gensler.

When we consider the last 24 hours, the Bitcoin price increased by approximately 10% in total during the day.
The rise brought with it a massive liquidation wave in the cryptocurrency market. In the last 24 hours, there was a massive liquidation of $572 million in the cryptocurrency market. $392 million of these were observed in short positions and $179 million in long positions. The cryptocurrencies that were liquidated the most were Bitcoin, Dogecoin and Ethereum, respectively.
