According to the latest information, US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick stated in his statement that Donald Trump’s tariff crisis could be resolved today (tomorrow US time).
Lutnick said in a statement:
Trump will reach some kind of compromise with Mexico and Canada on tariffs, and we could announce it tomorrow.
The Trump administration will balance the budget.
Trump may lower tariffs on the US and Mexico tomorrow.
Trump will make some concessions on issues related to Canada and Mexico, but will not give in completely (will not meet all of Canada and Mexico’s demands).
