A notable update on long-term forecasts came from Ark Invest, led by Cathie Wood. The company revised its Bitcoin forecasts upwards for 2030:
- Optimistic scenario: 1 Bitcoin = $2.4 million (Previous: $1.5 million)
- Reason: Tighter “active” supply and strong increase in institutional adoption
- Base scenario: 1 Bitcoin = $1.2 million (Previous: $710,000)
- Reason: Bitcoin is seen as “digital gold” and demand from ETFs
- Pessimistic scenario: 1 Bitcoin = $500,000
- Previous range: $300-500K.
