Popular cryptocurrency analysis firm Santiment recently released a report detailing the most talked-about altcoins on social media platforms. According to Santiment’s data, Bitcoin (BTC) and Cardano (ADA) emerged as the top contenders for social media attention.
Analysts at Santiment revealed that the battle between bulls and bears over BTC has intensified, with the cryptocurrency struggling to maintain its position around the $70,000 mark. Interestingly, Bitcoin’s market capitalization is currently nearly 50% lower than that of Apple.
On the other hand, Cardano’s increased social media presence can be attributed to its recent introduction of smart contracts, NFTs, constant comparisons with Ethereum, and the growing decentralization of the ADA network.
While discussions surrounding Bitcoin are evenly split between positive and negative sentiments, Cardano seems to garner more positive attention on social media platforms.
The most discussed cryptocurrencies on social media, both positively and negatively, include BTC, ADA, LRC, XRP, LINK, MNTC, GAME, BNB, ALGO, and AVAX.
