As Ripple expands globally, exciting news of a new partnership has emerged. Ripple has revealed its collaboration with Archax, the first registered crypto exchange in the UK, to establish the XRP Ledger as a frontrunner in real-world asset (RWA) tokenization.
This partnership will focus on tokenizing real-world assets (RWAs), with plans to bring in substantial capital worth millions of dollars to the XRP Ledger (XRPL) in the coming year. By allowing financial institutions to tokenize RWAs, Archax will utilize XRPL’s infrastructure to enhance the efficiency and market accessibility of these assets.
Markus Infanger, Senior Vice President of RippleX, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “Our industry is entering a new phase of adoption where blockchain technology will bring tangible benefits to financial markets on a large scale. Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse mentioned that financial institutions are actively tokenizing real-world assets on XRPL and other Layer-1 blockchains, anticipating substantial growth in this trend in the future. He tweeted, “Very excited about this partnership with @Ripple and @ArchaxEx – financial institutions are increasingly tokenizing their RWAs on layer 1s like XRPL through regulated entities like Archax, and I only expect this to grow exponentially in the future.”
