Breaking News: Altcoin Holograph (HLG) Falls Victim to Massive Hack, 1 Billion Tokens Minted by Hacker
In a shocking turn of events, the cryptocurrency market has been rocked by a recent hacking incident. Holograph (HLG), an altcoin, was targeted by hackers who managed to mint an additional 1 billion tokens.
According to an official statement released by the developers, HLG was subjected to a significant hack attack. The team behind the altcoin quickly addressed the security vulnerability that led to the breach and is actively collaborating with exchanges to freeze any malicious accounts. Additionally, an investigation has been launched, with the developers seeking assistance from law enforcement agencies.
As a result of the hack, the value of HLG plummeted by over 50%, causing widespread concern among investors.
HLG is currently listed on popular centralized exchanges such as Bybit, Gateio, and Kucoin. Following the drop in value, the total market capitalization of the token stands at approximately $7 million, with a trading price of $0.007092. This means that hackers were able to gain control of around $7 million worth of tokens at the current market price.
