Upbit, the largest cryptocurrency exchange in South Korea, has announced the addition of six new altcoins to its platform. These altcoins include Bitcoin Cash (BCH), GAS, GameBuild (GAME2), NEO (NEO), Solana (SOL), and Thundercore (TT).
Known for its selective approach to altcoin listings, Upbit has expanded its offerings in response to upcoming regulations in South Korea that will impose restrictions on the cryptocurrencies that exchanges can list.
Following the news of these new listings, there was a sudden surge in the prices of the added altcoins. However, amidst a generally bearish market, these increases have not yet allowed the altcoins to reach their peak prices.
