Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has made a significant announcement regarding a special airdrop program for holders of the altcoin BNB. The program, known as “HODLer Airdrop”, will provide rewards to users who participate in Simple Earn using their BNB assets, receiving airdrop tokens from projects with a substantial circulating supply aiming for listing on Binance soon.
To be eligible for HODLer Airdrops, users must visit the ‘Earn’ section on Binance, locate BNB, and subscribe to Simple Earn products (Flexible and/or Locked) with their BNB holdings. Binance will issue an advance notice before the start of a new token airdrop, taking snapshots of user balances and total pool balances multiple times hourly to calculate average balances across Simple Earn products.
For instance, for the June 11, 2024 HODLer Airdrops, snapshots of user balances from June 1 to June 7, 2024 will be considered for reward calculation. Qualified users will receive their HODLer Airdrop rewards in their Spot Wallet within 24 hours after the announcement. The airdropped token will then be automatically transferred to each user’s Spot Wallet prior to its listing on Binance Spot.
