While the number of developers is a crucial metric, the amount of work these developers put into the altcoins in question is equally significant. According to the data, Ethereum topped the list for the most code changes made by developers in the last week, totaling 16,430 works. Polkadot followed with 5,226 works, reflecting a similar ranking to the number of developers.
BNB Chain claimed the third spot with 4,957 works, showcasing a discrepancy in comparison to the number of developers.
Cosmos and Polygon rounded out the top five with 4,680 and 4,626 works, respectively.
In addition, other altcoins in the top ten include Optimism, Arbitrum, NEAR, Celo, and Kusama in descending order.
