Amidst discussions about the recent decline in Bitcoin, former US President and current presidential candidate Donald Trump has made headlines with his pro-BTC and cryptocurrency stance by planning to participate in the Bitcoin 2024 conference in Nashville at the end of July.
According to Axios, sources familiar with the situation have revealed that Trump is in discussions to be a speaker at the Bitcoin 2024 conference.
It is reported that Trump has been invited to the event, but it is still unclear whether he will speak or attend.
In addition to Trump, other prominent US politicians such as presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, and Republican Senators Bill Hagerty and Marsha Blackburn are also expected to speak at the Bitcoin 2024 conference.
Brian Hughes, a senior advisor to Trump, expressed concerns about the future of cryptocurrencies, stating that they are “under attack” by the Biden administration and the Democrats, while emphasizing Trump’s commitment to promoting American leadership in emerging technologies such as cryptocurrencies.
With El Salvador’s recent announcement that it will accept Bitcoin as legal tender, experts believe that Trump’s speech at the Bitcoin conference in July will carry significant weight.
Hosted by Bitcoin Magazine, the Bitcoin 2024 Conference is scheduled to take place from July 25-27 and is anticipated to be the largest Bitcoin event of the year.
