Amidst this backdrop, Grayscale, the leading global cryptocurrency asset management firm, has remarked on the evolving landscape of the cryptocurrency sphere and issued a comprehensive report.
In their lineup of the top 20 tokens to monitor during the third quarter of 2024, the Grayscale Research team has positioned Bitcoin and Ethereum at the forefront.
Anticipating that 20 cryptocurrencies, including BTC and ETH, will garner attention in the third quarter of 2024, Grayscale has underscored the significance of artificial intelligence tokens among these alternative coins.
In connection to the prospective introduction of Ethereum ETFs, expected to commence trading in the near future, the company noted its anticipation for an expansion within the ETH ecosystem following ETF approval.
“If the approval of spot ETH generates interest and adoption within Ethereum, we may witness increased activity and valuation buoyancy for specific Layer 2 tokens (e.g., Mantle), Ethereum DeFi protocols (e.g., Uniswap, Maker, and Aave), and other assets critical to its functionality,” the report stated.
