Peter Todd, who was accused of being Satoshi Nakamoto in the HBO documentary, has responded to claims that he has been hiding. Todd dismissed the allegations and stated that while he has taken precautions for his safety, he is not in hiding. He recently attended a BTC event in Lugano, Switzerland, to prove that he is still active and present in the cryptocurrency community. Todd also plans to speak at several upcoming events around the world. Despite the attention from the documentary, Todd has not been contacted by anyone who watched it, which he attributes to his avoidance of audio and video interviews with journalists. The accusations against Todd were based on circumstantial evidence, including similarities in writing styles and his early involvement in digital currency. However, Todd denies any connection to Nakamoto and claims that a blog post was falsely attributed to him.
