South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Upbit has announced the listing of a new altcoin called Cat in a Dog’s World (MEW). The exchange, known for its reliability, will list MEW on the KRW market starting at 19:00 on October 21, 2024. MEW is a memecoin launched on the Solana network in March 2024. The token’s narrative revolves around a cat’s mission to save a world dominated by dogs. While MEW does not currently have any practical use, it is expected to grow with its community-driven ecosystem and may find new applications in the future. Users must ensure they select the correct network (MEW-Solana) for deposits, as transfers using unsupported networks will not be processed and may result in significant delays in fund returns. There are certain transaction restrictions in place, such as a five-minute buying restriction after the trade opens and a minimum sell price restriction for the first five minutes. During the first hour of trading, only limit orders will be accepted. The previous day’s closing price for MEW in the BTC market was 0.00000013 BTC, equivalent to 12.21 KRW.
