Standard Chartered Targets 2025 for Solana and XRP ETFs, Anticipating $150K in Bitcoin and $8K in Ethereum

Standard Chartered analyst Geoffrey Kendrick has suggested that other altcoin ETFs, such as Solana and XRP, could receive approval in 2025. This comes after the SEC’s recent approval of spot Ethereum ETHs. Kendrick stated that the approval of Ethereum ETFs indicates that ETH is not considered a security by the SEC. Therefore, other cryptocurrencies that are similar to ETH, like Solana and XRP, may also be deemed not securities. Kendrick predicts that Bitcoin could reach $150,000 and ETH could reach $8,000. He believes that a portfolio including both BTC and ETH ETFs would be attractive, and the SEC’s decision on ETH further strengthens the sector.
