People return to the rainbow because it is one of the few bitcoin pictures a non-specialist can retell. That is a design success. It is not an oracle.

This desk says so up front. Sample pages will not tell you which color you are 'supposed' to be in.

Bitcoins Rainbow files this as a sample, not a recommendation. The desk can describe a mechanism, a speaker, and what is still unchecked. It cannot tell a reader what to do with money.

If you keep one line, keep the boundary: Color makes a long history legible. It does not make it predictive.

Density here is a second source, a time, and a sentence about what is still unknown. A louder adjective does not make the note more complete.

• Who is speaking. Bitcoins Rainbow names them.
• A number with one source stays out of the headline.
• This sample describes a mechanism. It does not tell you to buy or sell.
• A correction, if it comes, stays on this page instead of disappearing.
